Oh, so, you know what's even better than being told that our show went awesomely (except for the fact that two performances were cancelled due to inclement weather)? ( PICTURES THAT'S WHAT )

Okay, you know what? I barely remember this last week, I was caught in varying amounts of unconsciousness and snow. Last week did not happen in my book! I went to bed on the thirteenth, and woke up this morning and there was twenty inches of snow outside, what.

In more important news, I recognize that most people have Christmas on the brain (Chrismakwanzakah, whatever), so I am merely putting little ideas in your head, but, WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR NEW YEARS. If the answer is, "I live in the DC area and I don't know," then you can go ahead and change your answer to "I'm going to the board game night that Kelsey is throwing!"

Mom and Dad have generously lent me the use of their house for this hear-now board game bash. I will be providing:

There was a lot more to this, but then I got xandrei drawing Danny Phantom (which I never watched myself). She finished hers and I had to show her Ben more quickly FOR SHE IS A SILLY HO. ♥

I still wanna draw Gwen and Kevin too. They were GOING to be in the background of this but alas. I also wanna see the episode with Ben 10,000 or whatever the hell he's called. MMM SEXY OLD BEN.

I think I have a thing for heroes in green. Green Arrow is my fave. Then Green Lantern. And I am very fond of Ben.

A few days ago, I logged onto livejournal and tried to look at my journal, but a weird ad kept popping up. It would take over the whole screen, and inform me that the video would start playing in 10 seconds. And there was nothing I could do. I found this incredibly annoying because all I wanted to do was reply to some comments, so eventually I gave up and bought a year-long membership to livejournal.

Nooot the greatest solution, and I may send an email to complain. But anyway! I'm a fully-paid member of livejournal now, and as such, I have thirty icons.

I intend to keep my fox theme. ( So far I have: )

What do you think I should add to my list? If I had a color scanner, I would try to get Renfield the Fox from Fables (he makes a lot of good poses). I might try to find that freakish crying-fox icon that I had mixed feelings about deleting. Any other ideas for fox pictures?

If I knew anything about Aquaman at all I would draw a picture of Aquaman and the Little Mermaid together and make that an icon, Captain America has been replaced with "a general non-aquatic creature of some kind" although he may become a fisherman, YOU SEE MY DILEMMA HERE

Alright, depending on how you look at it, I'm either 6/7 or 7/12ths of the way done with my Christmas shopping. Really, all I need to do is figure out what in the heck to get my older sister Katie for Christmas and I'm done. And really, would getting her yet another gift certificate to one of her favorite clothing stores really be that awful?

I'm serious. Would it? I can't decide.

I'm considering leaving work early, on account of this cold I've picked up from doing It's A Wonderful Life. On Sunday, me, Scott, and Tommy were sniffling and sneezing and and having trouble staying awake. Tommy at least had the advantage of sleeping through the first act,* but Scott and I show up sporadically throughout the play. I think we all caught the bug from Roberta, who was complaining to Devon about a cold she had had earlier in the week. She was demonstrating that she had lahryngitis but was still able to do her Ma Bailey voice. It was quite impressive.

I took the day off yesterday and slept all day, cuddled up with my kitties.^ I think my bosses thought I was skipping work to study for my Latin final (which is today). At the very least, when I talked to Edwina over the phone, she sounded very surprised that I sounded sick. I've had to assure everybody that really, I'm feeling much better, yesterday I couldn't even walk across my apartment without feeling exhausted and today I'm up and about with just a little bit of congestion.

*At least when he wasn't bugging me to entertain him. Just because you have a little schoolboy crush on me does not mean I'm here to entertain you, you little brat.
^Who get along just fine until about 5:00 in the evening, when Marty gets some spunk and tries to start some fights.

This first weekend of It's A Wonderful Life appears to be going swimmingly! Of course there have been some flubs, and apparently a light wasn't working for the Saturday matinee, but 2/3rds of our audiences have been wonderful (the third was full of old hard-of-hearing types), and I've gotten a laugh consistently every show! That's what counts you know.

I took Marty in for his second doctor appointment. He's now all caught up on rabies and distemper, but sadly he has an inner ear infection.

You do realize how much this sucks, right?

I have to give medicine to a cat.

Who is getting cold wet things stuck into his ear.

I delivered the first set of drops last night, and Marty was not pleased. I held him down as best I could and tried to deliver them straight down his ear, but Marty kept moving, and his ears are furry, and right afterwards he hopped up and shook his head like crazy so that liquid was splattering everywhere. What if he doesn't get better? What if the infection spreads to his brain and he gets sick and dies?*
